Accomplishing success is more than just a matter of luck. It’s a matter of requiring some investment in terms of time to gain proficiency with a trade, applying knowledge and staying with it – despite misfortune and possible disappointment en route. While successful people come in all shapes and sizes and work in various fields, they will in general share key character attributes which assist them advance and stay ahead. Successful people have obvious objectives. Rather than ambiguous objectives like ‘become rich,’ their objectives will be explicit, as ‘grow from one to three stores within two years.’ One of the most defining characteristics of successful people is their drive. All things considered, defining clear objectives is one thing. However, successful people should have a solid drive to really achieve their objectives. Achievement rewards consistency. To be consistent, you must have discipline. And that’s what distinguishes successful people from the rest.
